To be fair, sales reps from Thompson BMW and Thompson Lexus were very polite and courteous. However, buying my 4Runner from Thompson Toyota was not fun. Anyway, we got past it during the sale but the discussions related to this "certified" issue were ridiculous.
I've already mentioned that Greg McCahill tried to buy the truck back from us at a slightly higher rate (which of course he would resell for almost double the amount). I also spoke with Julius Libutti, the General Sales Manager, as a follow up several times. I'll describe these interactions in upcoming posts.
